about me

Welcome to my web portfolio.

I studied photography in the '80s, at The New School at first and then at Skidmore College.
After that, I did a volunteer internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

My father - a lawyer as a family tradition - thought I was crazy because I'd choose Photography over Law. He once screamed at me “Why don’t you just keep it as a hobby?”. It was by no means a hobby to me. I had photography in every cell of my body.

I’ve learned in the film era with the view cameras as a quality standard. Photography as a Fine Art was my love. Then I learned how to be creative, pragmatic and technically savvy. I started working for big corporations. There was no time for indulgence: I had to deliver. So I learned and appreciated the digital tools available, and used them to fulfil my needs. I got best of both worlds.

I have interdisciplinary expertise. One advantage with this is I can go beyond your expectations. I’m capable of seeing the purpose of a brand and the values of a product. I can translate these values into a visual story.

If you are interested in knowing more about me and my work, feel free to ask. I'll be pleased to tell you more in details.
